These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and LT Plumbing Services ("LT Plumbing," "we," "us," or "our"), a plumbing contractor operating in the State of Colorado. By requesting an estimate, scheduling service, or accepting work performed by LT Plumbing, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services or website.
LT Plumbing Services provides residential and commercial plumbing and related mechanical services in Colorado, which may include but are not limited to:
All work is performed in accordance with applicable Colorado plumbing codes, local building ordinances, and the licensing requirements of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may vary if hidden conditions, additional labor, or unforeseen materials are required to complete the work. Any material change in scope or price will be communicated to you before additional work is performed.
Free estimates, where offered, are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
Appointment times are estimates and may be affected by emergency dispatches, weather, or job complexity. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of significant delays.
You may cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment without penalty by providing notice at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows at the scheduled time, may incur a trip charge equal to our standard dispatch fee.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before commencing work.
Invoices not paid within thirty (30) days of the invoice date will accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Colorado law. You agree to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorneys' fees, incurred in collecting past-due amounts.
COLORADO MECHANIC'S LIEN NOTICE. Under Colorado law (C.R.S. § 38-22-101 et seq.), contractors and subcontractors who perform labor or supply materials on real property and are not paid have the right to file a mechanic's lien against the property to secure payment. By accepting our services, you acknowledge this right. We will only exercise lien rights as a last resort and only as permitted by Colorado law.
LT Plumbing warrants its labor and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of service, unless a different period is specified in writing on the invoice or work order. This warranty covers defects in the installation or repair performed by our technicians.
Parts and equipment installed are covered exclusively by the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist you in submitting warranty claims to the manufacturer but make no independent warranty of parts beyond what the manufacturer provides.
Our workmanship warranty does not cover:
You agree to:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY COLORADO LAW, LT Plumbing's total cumulative liability arising from or related to the services performed shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. LT Plumbing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use, or property damage beyond the immediate work area, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Colorado law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LT Plumbing Services, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your negligence, or your misrepresentation of conditions at the service site.
LT Plumbing reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any property where conditions are unsafe, where the scope of work falls outside our licensing or expertise, or where the Customer engages in abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward our technicians.
The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, the parties agree to non-binding mediation in Colorado before pursuing litigation.
Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
These Terms, together with any written work order, invoice, or signed agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and LT Plumbing regarding the services and supersede any prior oral or written communications.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you request service governs that engagement. The most current version will always be posted on our website.

License Status: Active and in good standing
Verification: Customers may verify our license at any time through the Colorado DORA website at dora.colorado.gov.
Where required by local jurisdiction, LT Plumbing pulls all necessary permits prior to performing work and coordinates required inspections with the appropriate municipal building department. Permit fees, when applicable, are itemized separately on your estimate or invoice.
We do not perform permitted work without the proper authorization, and we never ask customers to pull owner-builder permits to avoid our obligations as a licensed contractor.

Certificates of insurance are available upon written request for commercial customers, property managers, and HOAs that require verification before service.
Where required by Colorado state or municipal regulations, LT Plumbing maintains the surety bonding necessary to perform contracted work. Bonding protects customers in the event of contractual non-performance, providing an additional layer of financial security.

We strongly encourage Colorado homeowners and businesses to verify the licensing status of any plumbing contractor before engaging their services. Unlicensed work can result in code violations, voided home insurance claims, failed inspections, and significant safety hazards. LT Plumbing welcomes any verification inquiry as part of our commitment to transparency.
At LT Plumbing Services, safety is foundational to every job we perform. This document outlines the safety standards we follow to protect our customers, our technicians, and your property on every service visit across Colorado.
We commit to:
Every LT Plumbing technician dispatched to your property:
Before beginning work, our technicians will:
Work involving natural gas lines, water heaters, boilers, and combustion appliances is performed only by technicians qualified for such work under Colorado licensing requirements. We follow strict protocols for:
If at any point we detect a gas leak, carbon monoxide concern, or other immediate safety hazard, we will notify you immediately and, when warranted, contact emergency services and your local utility provider.
To prevent property damage during service:
If hidden water damage, mold, or structural issues are discovered during the course of our work, we will pause, document the finding, and discuss next steps with you before proceeding.
Older Colorado homes and commercial buildings may contain hazardous materials such as asbestos pipe wrap, lead solder, or lead-based paint. Our technicians are trained to recognize the visual indicators of these materials and will:
LT Plumbing does not perform asbestos or lead abatement; we will refer you to qualified Colorado-licensed specialists when needed.
To keep your home or business plumbing system safe, we recommend:
For active plumbing emergencies — burst pipes, sewage backups, gas odors, or no-water situations — please call our dispatch line directly rather than submitting an online form. Our team prioritizes emergency calls and will dispatch the nearest available licensed technician.
If you smell gas, do not use any electrical switches or open flames. Leave the premises immediately and call 911 and your gas utility provider from a safe location. Then contact LT Plumbing for follow-up plumbing repairs once the area has been declared safe.
LT Plumbing follows current CDC and Colorado Department of Public Health guidance regarding communicable disease protocols. Upon request, our technicians can wear masks, observe distancing, and use additional sanitation measures while in your home or business.
We treat every property as if it were our own. Upon completion of work, our technicians will:
If at any time you have a safety concern about work performed by LT Plumbing, or about the conduct of a technician on your property, please contact us immediately. We take every concern seriously and investigate promptly.
